Sukhothai

Travel through time to 'Sukhothai Kingdom, the first kingdom that was settled by the first generation of Thai ancestors. This historical site houses Sukhothai style temples even in good condition and ruin site which let you learn about Thai history from stone inscription and an elegant and huge Buddha image of that age that still exist from time to time. Phra Achana is one of the most sacred Buddha image housed in the roofless Mondop in Wat Si Chum. At Wat Walukaram and local community's residence, there are one of the best ancient wooden buildings.

If you seek for Milky Way Galaxy, with this trip you might get some nice photos. Believe it or not Sukhothai has a beautiful and peaceful mountain. Note that it's not that convenient and easy to get there. It's a good place to go camping and trekking. During the trail it's harsh and you might get tired but the reward for you on the top is worth trying. You might fall in love with this mountain trip in the one and only scenery of this hidden gem city.
